DESCRIPTION:The current status of experiment and theory of tau lepton 
 hadronic decays is considered. \nWe begin with decays into the even number
  of pions. Spectra and branching fractions of such \ntau lepton decays are
  compared to the data on the corressponding e+e- cross sections 
 using\nconserved vector current. Implications of this comparison for the 
 muon anomalous magnetic\nmoment are discussed. A brief review of the 
 decays into the odd number of pions is also presented.\n\nhttps://agenda.h
